into great slience

I believe that this movie was rather boring and uneventful in to first bit we watched. I did not really understand what they were doing or why and hope that i can figure it out as we watch more of it. When they were inducting people into the "brotherhood" or whatever, they had to take a vow of silence if they wanted to be a part of it. I still do not understand why they had to do this though, it just seems kind of weird to do such a thing. I really hope that farther that we get into this movie that we will be able to understand it more and hopefully it will become a little more interesting.
